On their flight to Amsterdam Harold and Kumar are mistaken for terrorists and sent to Guantanamo Bay... but not for long. They bust out and go on a cross-country road trip to clear their names and win over their hotties! But first they'll have to outsmart the Feds outrun the Klan and enlist the help of a hallucinating Neil Patrick Harris. It's one wild ride with America's most wanted - and most wasted!

The drug duo is back and after a nice toke in the airplane that results in mass hysteria, they’re sent to prison in Cuba. This doesn’t last too long and we find our friends on yet another adventure as they make their way back home. Like the first film, this one is choked full of cameos and the unrated cut takes the sexual comedy up a few notches. If you were a fan of the first one, you’ll be right at home with this one.

New Line does a great job with this HD presentation. It is a nice step up from the first film in terms of dimension and detail. The image has a natural film quality and despite the limitations in budget, the photography looks great. Colors are nicely rendered and depth of image is solid. I did see some very minor banding in a few instances, but it was fleeting. Overall a solid transfer for the genre.

The 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack is inventive, but a bit cut and dry for the genre. Some of the film’s music selections get things going a bit more and dynamics are impressive at times, but this is a comedy and the soundtrack stays grounded for the most part. I didn’t notice a lot of difference given the 7.1 mix but the surround soundstage was active enough that it played a large part in the effect overall. Dialogue is balanced nicely within the mix and tonal quality was good.

This 2-disc set includes a digital copy of the film for PCs (no Mac support) and a pretty cool interactive feature that allows you to tailor the film to your liking. This includes deciding what scenes to put in the movie allowing you to modify the experience. Some production features and two commentaries are also included along with a slew of additional scenes.

Fans of the first film will get a kick out of this new adventure and New Line has delivered a solid package. The A/V presentation is great for the genre and the interactive editing is a nice touch and inventive feature. Recommended.
