Personally, when it comes to monitor speakers, I don't care how ugly they are as long as they sound good and will fit on my epic mess of a desk. With a pair of Fostex's new PM0.4Ws, though, that compromise might not be necessary. Each speaker sports a four-inch Woofer and UFLC 0.65" Soft Dome Tweeter as well as an independant amplifier and magnetic shielding. Each cabinet has a glossy white baffle to compliment what the press release claims to be a "brighter, tighter sound." Expect to drop about $300 a pair and at least $5 more on a good rag to keep them looking spiffy.
