Facebook Wants a Seat on the Couch
The pitch from Facebook's Andy Mitchell, SVP of strategic partner development, came at the PromaxBDA conference last week.
Mitchell pointed out that picking your entertainment from 500 channels can be daunting. "But think about a program guide where you see what your friends are watching. That changes the experience." Viewers might, Mitchell told media executives, "become recruits for your show."
