Digital Projection's new HIGHlite 330-3D now shipping for powerhouse home entertainment

ATLANTA, GA – 1/13/2013 – Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems, announces the immediate availability of their powerful yet value-driven HIGHlite Cine 330-3D projectors. Delivering up to 5,500 lumens of brilliant imagery, the new 3-chip DLP enabled HIGHlite Cine 330-3D models present a compelling projection option for home entertainment enthusiasts worldwide. Two new models are available: the high contrast HIGHlite Cine 330-3D-HC delivering 3,000 lumens and greater than 20,000:1 contrast, and the high brightness HIGHlite Cine 330-3D delivering 5,500 lumens. With MSRP starting at $29,995, the new HIGHlite Cine 330-3D brings full HDMI 1.4a compatibility and full 10-bit color to discerning home venues.

In addition to brilliant color, deep contrast and crisp resolution, brightness is an essential characteristic when selecting a projector for your home venue. Of absolute importance in any projector, however, is the overall image quality in both 2D and 3D modes. Delivering full 10-bit color through a dazzling 5,500 lumens, the new HIGHlite Cine 330-3D models provide more than enough brightness to thrive in large-screen dedicated theaters. Additionally, the high brightness HIGHlite brings projection to previously prohibited rooms of the home, such as media rooms and family rooms that regularly contend with ambient light. All without sacrificing the contrast and image detail that have made DPI’s precision projectors the standard for Hollywood-grade home entertainment.

Previously, superb large-screen 3D experiences in the home were reserved for the most elite home theaters using DPI’s award-winning TITAN Reference 1080p-3D models. Serving as a complement to the existing TITAN 3D product line, the HIGHlite Cine 330-3D models introduce native 1080p, 3-chip 3D displays to home entertainment venues for a fraction of the cost of entry level TITAN 3D models. Home entertainment enthusiasts can now experience flicker-free 3D entertainment while benefiting from the exceptional value of the HIGHlite Cine 330-3D. Combined with the vast selection of single-chip and 3-chip 3D capable displays already in Digital Projection’s product line, the new HIGHlite Cine 330-3D models continue DPI’s legacy of offering the most capable and diverse 3D projectors available today.

The HIGHlite Cine 330-3D displays present ideal projector solutions for home entertainment enthusiasts desiring exceptional 2D and 3D imagery with stellar 3-chip imaging, contrast and color performance. Augmenting these benefits are the overall efficiency and long-life of the lamp system, enabling this new platform to produce beautiful 2D and 3D imagery while consuming very low power and producing very little noise and heat.

Installation flexibility is unmatched due to the HIGHlite Cine 330-3D’s compact chassis design and extraordinary lens shift range of 120% vertical and 30% horizontal. Multiple lens options provide further flexibility, with .77 and 1.16:1 fixed lenses plus zoom lenses with throw ratios ranging from 1.45 – 6.76:1. HIGHlite Cine 330-3D connectivity includes two HDMI inputs, as well as RGB via D-15, component, composite and S-Video inputs.
