Canton
Canton has added a newcomer to their value- and style-oriented LE speaker series: the Movie LE 125 speaker system. The ensemble contains four matching two-way satellites that each houses a 5-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter; a center channel that houses two of the same woofers and one tweeter; and a 150-watt subwoofer with a 10-inch driver that's rated down to 22 hertz. The sub features a crossover that you can switch between 50 and 150 hertz. The Movie LE 125 system isn't bad to look at, either, with its lovely beech veneer and perforated silver grilles. The complete system costs $1,599, or you can leave the sub and buy just the center channel and satellites as the Take 5-LE system for $1,000.
