CEDIA Loses a Day

CEDIA Expo, the second largest a/v trade show, will cut back to three days when it returns to Indianpolis on September 10, 2011.

The annual trade show of the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association has been a four-day event since 2006. But at the most recent Expo in Atlanta, exhibit space had been slightly reduced, with all the action in the main part of the Georgia World Congress Center and ancillary exhibits axed.

"After considering exhibitor feedback and analyzing show floor traffic patterns, CEDIA leadership decided to make the move to a three-day show by eliminating Sunday trade show activities," CEDIA said in its Expo 2011 vendor packet, as quoted by This Week In Consumer Electronics.
