Canada's Audio and Video Show Starts Tomorrow

Hey Canadians, its time for the annual Festival Son et Image, your local high-end audio and video trade show. Now in its twenty-first year, the show takes place from April 3-6 at the Montreal Sheraton Centre, though the first day is limited to industry professionals.

More than 21,000 attendees will show up to manhandle and stress-test products from exhibitors like KEF, Pioneer, Sharp, Polk, and Shure (there will be 110 exhibitors in all).

It isn't too late to get in: Tickets will be sold at the door for $14 (one day access) and $28 (three day access). Each exhibitor will attempt to recreate a natural viewing and listening environment in the hotel's conference rooms and guest suites, so be prepared to make yourself comfortable.

At least five live music shows will take place as well, and Monster Cable founder Noel Lee will give a keynote address. Perhaps he'll discuss the merits of wire hangers. -Rachel Rosmarin
