Bose has announced the early release of Spotify integration for all of its SoundTouch wireless music systems.

Hailed as a first, Spotify functionality is integrated into the SoundTouch app, enabling users to search for and instantly stream songs, albums, artists, or playlists without having to leave the app. Users can also control SoundTouch speakers from the Spotify app. And because the apps are in sync, users can switch from one to the other and pick up wherever they left off.

Bose also announced a feature called “Ready Set with Spotify” that enables Spotify playlists to be preloaded on SoundTouch systems at bose.com at the time of purchase.

In addition to Spotify, SoundTouch systems come preloaded with Pandora, iHeartRadio, Deezer, and SiriusXM. Through a new software update, the systems now also support playback of FLAC audio files (up to CD quality).
