Vampires, drug trips, and Romans, oh my! This week sees the release of Alice in Wonderland on Blu-ray Disc, along with the 50th anniversary edition of Spartacus. For fans of the excellent HBO series True Blood, which will soon be returning to TV, the second season was just released on Blu-ray as well. It's a holdover from last week, but it's still excellent HDTV fodder, with the series' remarkably visceral opening sequence, roundly excellent acting, and atmospheric direction.
