This controller's list of specs and "must have" features is nothing short of astonishing for a controller at the sub-$5K price range. In fact, this controller's list of features would still be remarkable if it cost $10K! It offers 99% of the features found in Anthem's flagship controller, the Statement D2, for about 2/3 the money. In addition to boasting every surround sound option currently available, the AVM 50 has Gennum-powered video processing as the D2, which is enough to make a top of the line digital front projector or scaler jealous! On paper, this pre/pro has the look of a bang for the buck champion and a standard setter in the category. Available now.
