Amazon Section Promotes Kickstarter Products

Crowdfunding is one of the 21st Century’s great innovations (it actually started late in the 20th Century…we know), providing a way for anyone to take a shot at funding their Next Big Thing product.

Last year Amazon created the Made on Kickstarter storefront for little-known brands that had reached their initial funding goals on crowdfunding sites such as Kickstarter. The products aren’t exclusive to Amazon—you can buy them from the companies own sites—but the online powerhouse is the only third-party site offering them at the “best price available.”

A quick cruise on the page reveals…

Oculus Rift virtual reality headset ($599)

HiddenRadio2 wireless Bluetooth speaker ($199)

Modular Robotics Moss Exofabulatronixx 5200 model kit ($599.95)

You can browse the electronics section of Amazon’s Made on Kickstarter page here. Let us know if you find any tech goodies worth buying.
