Acura disses audiphiles with new commercial

Acura has started showing commercials questioning the nature of luxury, taking pot shots at audiophiles in the process. The commercial shows various luxury items, including an expensive tube amplifier, with the owners weakly trying to justify their purchases. Acura also produced another, online video that highlights the tube amp itself as a foolish purchase.

The eagle eyes at Audioaficionado.org have determined that the amp is a JoLida JD502BRC, a tube amp that can be found for about $1,300. Compared to more expensive amps, like the McIntosh MC275, JoLida's amp is downright bargain-priced.

What do you think about the commercial? All in good fun, or unfair and insulting to audiophiles?
