AC/DC: Dirty Deeds Done Digital

Hell's bells! AC/DC is at last offering its entire back catalog for sale online.

However . . . for those about to click, we advise you:

Catch No. 1: It's not on iTunes. It's only on Verizon Wireless (at least until March 2008).

Catch No. 2: It's only available via the PC version of Verizon's V CAST music service.

Catch No. 3: It's only being offered as full-album downloads, at $12 per album. Sole exception: "You Shook Me All Night Long," available as an over-the-air download.

This reminds me of a great music-trivia question that we used to bandy about here at the S&V offices: Which is the only huge band that has never released a best-of CD? That's right: AC/DC. Seems that Angus and the boys still don't want you to cherry-pick the past. Eager to hit the "Highway to Hell"? Ya gotta buy Highway to Hell! Desperate to get "Back in Black"? Ya gotta buy Back in Black!
